Have some great pictures of Rangeley?

Deadline for Submission – May 12th, 2023

• Digital images submitted must be a minimum of 300 dpi at 8.25” x 11” printed size.
• All photographs submitted should be recent, and the subject of photos should focus on scenic, recreation, wildlife, and our villages – i.e., any image that is representative of the best our area has to offer. We are looking for photos capturing each of the Rangeley area's four seasons.
• By submitting a photograph, you certify that you are the original photographer.
  • Suppose you submit a picture taken by someone else. In that case, you must provide written permission from the original photographer for the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce ("Chamber") to use the photograph in the calendar and other promotional materials, both print and digital, as the Chamber deems appropriate and with no compensation for the use thereof.
• If any persons appear in the photograph, you are responsible for obtaining, before submission of the photograph, any releases and consents necessary to permit the use of the photograph in the manner set forth herein.
• Photographs submitted may not include watermarks, signatures or copyright notices.
• All photographs chosen for the calendar will include a citation of the photographer's name in the calendar.
• Photograph's file name should be the name of the photographer; the description/place of the photo, and 2024 (example:  J.Smith Hunter Cove at Dusk 2024)

Photo Submissions:

• Deadline for submissions is May 12th, 2023.
• Submit at info@rangeleymaine.com, and please note "2024 Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce Calendar Photo Submission" in the subject.
• By submitting a photograph, photographers agree that submitted photos may be used in the 2024 Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce Calendar, Chamber's Website and in other print and digital promotional materials as the Chamber deems appropriate and with no compensation for the use thereof. Submitted photographs will not be sold in any manner other than inclusion in the Chamber's 2024 calendar or for other Chamber direct purposes.
• For each photograph submitted, please include the following information: (1) Name, (2) Mailing Address, (3) Email Address, (4) Phone Number and (5) Date and Location of Photograph.
• The Chamber assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure; theft or destruction of or unauthorized access to photo submissions.

Photo Selection:

• Submitted photos will be judged based on photographic quality and effectiveness in conveying the beauty and unique character of the Rangeley Lakes region throughout the four seasons.
• All selections will be made by Chamber staff and marketing and graphic artist professionals, and all decisions will be final.
• Each photographer who submits a photograph selected for inclusion in the calendar will be notified by email.
• Each photographer who submits a photograph selected for inclusion in the calendar will be entitled to one free copy of the calendar for each picture used.
