Rangeley Region Lake Cruises and Kayaking

Description

Winner of the Down East Magazine BEST BOAT CRUISE in all Maine (2014, 2015 and 2017) and Rated the #1 of 21 "Things to do in Rangeley" by TripAdvisor!

Welcome to the two most innovative lake adventures on the Rangeley Lakes. Our new (2019) cruise boat, the "Oquossoc Lady II", is the largest commercial vessel on the lakes and, with our kayaking Mothership the "Gray Ghost", we offer cruises, private charters and guided kayak paddle excursions on all the Rangeley Lakes. You will be educated on local history, exposed to the pristine waters of the lakes and enjoy endless vistas of Maine's Western Mountains. Experience the excitement of a soaring bald eagle, a loon feeding her chicks, or the sight of an occasional moose. Come aboard and let us take you to the most spectacular locations on the Rangeley Lakes!!!

We are very excited to be starting our 11th summer offering Scenic Lake Cruises and Private Charters on the Rangeley Lakes. We have worked hard to build a safe and reputable business that offers visitors to the Rangeley Region a unique opportunity to enjoy the beauty and history of our lakes. The "Oquossoc Lady II" and "Gray Ghost" are very different vessels, allowing us the opportunity to offer a wide range of adventures to our customers.

As avid kayak paddlers, Doreen and I have grown to appreciate the sheer beauty and tranquil nature of a flat water glide along the many islands, coves, streams and bogs of the Rangeley Lakes. While many areas are easily accessible to the average paddler, the challenge to safely reach deep into the truly remote locations of the Rangeley's was a business opportunity that intrigued us. Having now spent years cruising the "other" Rangeley Lakes (Mooselookmeguntic, Cupsuptic, Upper & Lower Richardson), we have located remote sites that are perfect for paddle excursions, yet we needed a large transport vessel outfitted to carry passengers and their equipment... enter the "Gray Ghost"!! Complete with a roomy deck, hard top and aft swim deck, we found the perfect "Mothership" for the launching our business. Our guided paddle trips will expose you to some of the most remote paddling areas in Maine. Please join us on a truly memorable guided paddling experience.

We also offer guided river and lake trips as well as kayak rentals.
