May is Mental Health Awareness Month and Rangeley is engaging in a townwide effort to take on the stigma, spread hope, and build community awareness around mental illness.
An opening reception will take place at the Rangeley Friends of the Arts, beginning with a photo exhibit, I am More:Facing Stigma, that challenges assumptions and shows that there is no "look" to mental illness. Reception will include speakers and a community kickoff to other Rangeley Call to Action events.
This event is brought to the community by the Yellow Tulip Project and Rangeley Health and Wellness in partnership with the Rangeley School Student Leadership group, Rangeley Friends of the Arts and Rangeley Rotary.
