Tonight featuring the Pulled Together Band!!
With the addition of our new, larger vessel, the Oquossoc Lady II, we are excited to introduce a new cruise series for Summer 2019. Our Music on the Lake Cruise will combine our most popular sunset cruise with a live band to provide our guests the ultimate evening on Rangeley Lake. Bring your own beverage, grab your camera, and join us for some fun!!
Running each Thursday in July and August, our full Summer 2019 Band Line-up is listed at the end of this announcement.
On Thursday, July 18 (and also August 1 & August 15) we will welcome aboard the PULLED TOGETHER BAND. The band is comprised of Katie Tressler (guitar, bass); Mike Frisch (fiddle, guitar) and often Mike Schrader (guitar, bass, whistles, etc.) or other visiting guests (banjo, fiddle). The band plays a wide mix of old-time music: classic folk songs from several traditions, upbeat fiddle and square dance tunes, waltzes, gospel songs, and much more. Their music appeals to any audience - listened to closely, singing along, or as background music for a lake cruise and conversation!
In 2015, the "Little Miss and Mister Woodchip Contest" at the Maine Forestry Museum needed music—and the band was literally "pulled together" by Liz Pimentel, a well-known (and effective!) local organizer. The members have continued to play at the Woodchip Festival, the Logging Parade and the Field Day at the Museum each summer, as well as other local events. Last summer they began hosting a weekly open-air jam session at the Gazebo next to Ecopelagicon. The members continue to have fun getting together to keep this unique music alive, and share it.
Music on the Lake Cruise Rates:

• Child (2-10 yrs): $20.00
• Infant (Under 2 yrs): No Charge

Departure: Cruises depart from the town dock in Oquossoc Cove. Directions will be provided when reservations are confirmed.
