Trip 1

Ride down scenic Route 17 visiting the various scenic turnouts offering some of  the best views in the State of Maine, stop at Coos Canyon, on to Route 120 west to Andover, then take Route 5 south to Route 2.  Turn right on Route 2, west to Route 26; stop at Grafton Notch State Park for a cookout and see Screw Auger Falls.  Continue on Route 26 to Errol and Route 16 east back to Rangeley.

Trip 2

Ride to the Rangeley State Park on South Shore Drive for picnicking and walking trails.

Trip 3

Take Route 16 east to Stratton and Routes 16 & 27 to Sugarloaf Mountain and on to Kingfield. In Kingfield, take Route 27; see the Wire Bridge in New Portland. Then, Route 234 back to Route 4. Take Route 4 north and stop at Small's Falls for a cookout and hike the short trails to other set of falls. Back to Rangeley.

Trip 4

Take Route 16 east to Stratton.  Turn left on Route 27 past Cathedral Pines, Visit Eustis Ridge scenic lookout, return to Route 27. Continue on Route 27 passing beautiful Chain of Ponds, on to the Canadian border. If you wish, go on to Lac Megantic, a small Canadian city on Lac Megantic for lunch and shopping. Follow same route back to Rangeley.

Trip 5

Take Route 4 south to Phillips. Turn right on Route 142, past Mt. Blue State Park, on to Dixfield. Take Route 2 west to scenic Route 17 north to Oquossoc, Route 4 to Rangeley.
